Collaborative, Responsive, Experienced

Benefit from our experience

We are the Local Authority Building Control (LABC) service for Mole Valley, Reigate & Banstead and Tandridge Councils. In 2017 we became a Partnership when the existing teams from our three councils merged.  As a large and experienced local team we have in-depth Building Regulations knowledge. We work collaboratively with you and offer guidance throughout the lifecycle of your project.

The Regulations can be complex. Our surveyors and structural engineer are happy to offer you advice and help find solutions, without compromising on building standards. As a Local Authority we are the only Building Control service able to provide the peace of mind of an Approval Notice and to approve plans before work starts on site. Being local means we can offer same day site inspections, so we won't hold up your build.

As well as Building Regulations, we carry out work in relation to dangerous structures and demolition notices across our Partnership's area.

Quality standards

In recognition of how important we consider quality in all aspects of our Partnership, since December 2018 we have been ISO 9001 accredited. As part of our ethos to remain customer-focused and deliver excellent service we are continually improving our internal processes and focusing on staff training.
